This Privacy Notice explains how CleanerDrain handles information when you use our mobile application.
CleanerDrain is designed to perform its core cleaning functions locally on your device. This notice describes the information that may be processed, why it is used, how third parties may process information, and the rights available to you.
A. Start Here: What Information Does CleanerDrain Handle?
CleanerDrain is a storage-cleaning utility that helps identify unnecessary files, including:
- Advertising caches
- Old APK files
- Residual data
- Temporary files
- Other unnecessary storage items
During scanning, CleanerDrain may locally process file names, paths, sizes, extensions, storage categories, and related technical information.
The core cleaning process is performed locally on your device. CleanerDrain does not need to upload the contents of your personal photos, videos, documents, or other personal files to perform its core functions.
B. Why Does CleanerDrain Request File Management Access?
CleanerDrain requires File Management Permission because storage access is necessary to scan and remove eligible files.
The permission allows CleanerDrain to:
- Scan eligible storage locations;
- Identify and categorize unnecessary files;
- Calculate storage usage;
- Show potential storage that can be released;
- Delete files selected by you.
This permission is used for CleanerDrain’s file-management functions and is not intended for unrelated purposes.
C. The Core Privacy Principle
CleanerDrain’s core file-cleaning operations are designed to run locally.
Information required to inspect files can therefore be processed directly on your device rather than routinely uploaded to our servers.
However, CleanerDrain may use third-party SDKs and services that separately process technical, advertising, analytics, attribution, or diagnostic information.
D. Third-Party Services
CleanerDrain may use third-party technology providers to support application operation, analytics, attribution, advertising, and diagnostics.
1 — Attribution Technology
Attribution platforms may help measure installations and advertising campaign performance. Depending on the provider, they may process advertising identifiers, installation data, campaign information, device information, and application events.
2 — Analytics Technology
Analytics services may process general usage and technical information, such as application events, feature interactions, device characteristics, performance data, and error information.
This information helps us understand usage and improve CleanerDrain.
3 — Firebase
CleanerDrain may use Firebase services for analytics, crash reporting, diagnostics, or performance monitoring.
Depending on the Firebase services enabled, information such as device data, application events, crash information, diagnostics, and identifiers may be processed.
4 — Advertising Mediation / Aggregation
CleanerDrain may use advertising mediation or aggregation platforms to manage advertisements.
A relevant aggregation platform may collect “Installed apps” information from your device. This information may be processed for “Advertising or marketing” purposes, including advertising selection, measurement, campaign analysis, fraud prevention, and related marketing activities.
Such processing is performed by the applicable third-party provider under its own privacy practices and applicable legal requirements.
